I’m not exactly sure how it happened, but while cleaning up my server and deleting unused folders, I somehow managed to delete my entire Elle Magic website. To make matters worse, I hadn’t kept any backups on my computer. I was devastated. I just wanted to crawl into bed and sleep, hoping that in my dreams, this never happened and everything was OK.
But I didn’t give in. I rolled up my sleeves, installed a fresh copy of WordPress, and started from scratch.
This time, I’m taking a different approach. Instead of rebuilding a full membership platform, I’m going to keep things simple: linking new exclusive content directly to my Patreon and introducing a pay-per-post system here on the site.
To kick things off, I’m starting with a few support characters—Esmaurade, Kagura, and Mey-rin—to see how the content flows, and I’ll adjust as I go.
